Tournament "The Final Battle - 6".


I. Rules and templates.
By default the game version is SoD 3.2 (4.0), by mutual agreement it can be WT or any other version of HOMM3.
Template choosing is conducted according to the standard elimination procedure with the list of 10 templates:
2SM4d(3), Balance (L-U), Panic, Jebus cross, Mini-Nostalgia, 8mm6a, 8хм12а, 6LM10a, 8xm8a, Anarchy. Elimination procedure is started by red player.

1. Rules for on-line games on 2SM4d(3) template and SoD version.
Time limit for 2SM4d(3) is 8 minutes.

2. Rules differences for 8mm6а, 8xm12a, 6LM10a, 8xm8a:
- Map settings: XL+U, 2 humans + 6 computers, difficulty 160%, time limit is 10 minutes.
- Dirt road restart. It is taken by the will of any player immediately after map generation.
- It is allowed to move between zones without fighting misplaced guards.
- If there is an upgrade of 1, 6, 7 creature building in Conflux or 4 creature building in Necropolis, it is not allowed to upgrade your existing troops of these levels or buy an upgraded version of creatures. If there is Necromancy amplifier built it is not allowed to upgrade vampire estate and it is allowed to use additional skeletons coming from necromancy.
- It is allowed to use DD twice a day on expert air magic.

3. Rules differences for Jebus cross:
- Map settings: XL-U, 2 humans, no water, monsters - strong, difficulty 160 %, time limit is 10 minutes.
- It is allowed to use Galthran as a starting hero in Necropolis.
- Dirt road restart. It is taken by the will of any player immediately after map generation.
- To get to desert it is necessary to kill Main Guard (MG). Bugged passages to the center can't be used until MG is eliminated.
- Obligatory restart if player has no MG on all passages from his zone to the dester. It is taken on the day when it is discovered.
- Restart by the will of a player who no MG on a road to the center. It is taken on the day when it is discovered.
- Restart by the will of a player who has the only road leading to the desert. It is taken on the day of the discovery of that fact.
- Restart by the will of a player who has no road to the desert. It is taken on the day of the discovery of that fact.
- If there are bugged zone transitions it is allowed to use them only if the guards from these zones to the desert are eliminated.
- It is allowed to use «Angel wings» and spells "Fly" и "DD" to move between zones only if the border guards between these zones were eliminated.

4. Rules differences for Panic and Balance:
Map settings: L-U, humans - 2, computers - 0, no water, strong monsters, difficulty 130%, time limit is 8 minutes.

5. Rules differences for Mini-Nostalgia:
- Map settings: L+U, 2 humans + 6 computers, no water, monsters - strong, difficulty 160 %, time limit is 8 minutes.
- To avoid double-builds computer castles are chosen by the players. The blue players starts choosing, choses one castle for his computer (the one in the zone neighboring to blue's starting position), than red chooses one castle for his computer etc. There must be no repeats and computer castles must differ from players'. Computer castles are set by the host before the start of the game.
- It is allowed to move between zones without fighting misplaced guards. The exception is the strong guards to the central zone - they must be fought (this refer only to FMG rule thus causing no limitations on using fly, DD or angel wings to get passage to the central zone).
- If there is an upgrade of 1, 6, 7 creature building in Conflux or 4 creature building in Necropolis, it is not allowed to upgrade your existing troops of these levels or buy an upgraded version of creatures. If there is Necromancy amplifier built it is not allowed to upgrade vampire estate and it is allowed to use additional skeletons coming from necromancy.

6. Rules differences for Anarchy (SоD only):
Map settings: L+U, humans - 2, computers - 0, no water, strong monsters, difficulty 160%, time limit is 8 minutes.
- Restarts: obligatory and subjective restarts are the same as for 2SM4d(3), but there are no restarts for the early meeting, for the single road to MG and for the strong block.
- Honest playing rule and bugs forbidding are in game.
- All rules under II.5. are voided.

II. Regulation and schedule

1 stage. Groups. 10 groups 5 players each.
Every player in a group plays 1 game against all others. Thus everyone should play 4 games. Victory gives 1 point, draw gives 0,5 points, loss gives 0.
2 players who earned more points than others are coming to next round from each group.
Time limit for 2SM4d(3), Anarchy, Balance (L-U) and Panic is 6 minutes, Jebus cross - 10 minutes, for others - 8 minutes.
1 stage is played 20 April -15 June 2012.
One round is played for two weeks.

2 stage. Full Double Elimination. 20 players from groups are mixed with 4 winners of tournaments. Full Double Elimination is played until there are 6 players - 3 in the upper part and 3 in the bottom part.
Every match is played up to 2 wins.
If after 2 games the result is draw, then the 3 game is played with random towns. Colors for the first map are the same as in the first game, after that colors are changed after every subjective restart.

Rules and templates are the same.
Time limit for 2SM4d(3), Anarchy, Balance (L-U), Mini-Nostalgia and Panic is 8 minutes, Jebus cross, 8mm6a, 8хм12а, 6LM10a, 8xm8a - 10 minutes.
Colors for the first game are in the ladder. The second game changes the colors.

3 stage. The Final Battle. Round-Robin match of remaining 6 players. The games between them from the second stager are taken into account.
Rules and templates are the same.
Time limit is defined according to the voting of FB participants: balance and panic - 8 minutes, the rest - 10 minutes.
Every match is played up to 2 wins.
Colors for the first game are in the table. In the secon game colors are swapped. If after 2 games the result is draw, then the 3 game is played with random towns. Colors for the first map are the same as in the first game, after that colors are changed after every subjective restart.
Reports list of the 3rd stage are in the 10th post of the topic.

Results summation.
The results are summed up according two tables.
The table of games contains the results of completed games, draws and technical results are not taken into account. Victory gives 1 point, lose - 0 points.
The table of matches contains the results of matches. Match victory is awarded to the player who got more points in games and worth 1 point. In the case when the draw is after 2 games (score is 1-1) and the match is stopped after this, both players get 0,5 points in the table of matches. Technical results in the table of matches are awarded according to the results of personal communication of the tournament chief with the players.

The winner is defined according to the table of matches in the first instance.
FB-6 winner is a player who got more points in the round-robin tournament than the others.
If two players have the same scoring then the higher place is awarded according to the result of the match between them.
If it is impossible to determine the places according to the games between players then the higher ranking is awarded to the player who:
1. has higher Berger's coefficient in the table of matches;
2. has less technical victories in the matches;
3. if according to 2 there are two players selected then the match between them is taken into account.

If all above criteria are the same then the results from the table of games are taken into account:
1. the number of points in the table of games;
2. Berger's coefficient in the table of games;
3. the number of loses in the games (the less - the better).

Tournament starts on 20 April 2012.

Drawing, rounds information and current results will be at the beginning of the topic.

Please, make the reports about your games according to the following template:
date player1 (color 1, starting town 1, starting hero 1, main hero 1) def player2 (color 2, starting town 2, starting hero 2, main hero 2), template, last game day.

For example:
01.05.2012. Maretti (red, Castle, Valeska, Solmyr) def Pit for LM (blue, Conflux, random Grindan, Monere), 8mm6a, 134.


III. Organization
1. The tournament is official, regular.
2. Tournament chief - Scorpiona (ICQ 469326983) Tournament judge – Pit for LM (ICQ 471401475), Gomunguls (ICQ 499-978-341).
3. Players should write a report and confirmation for every played game; on play-off stages it is necessary to attach saves to reports.
4. Saves of all games must be kept until the end of tournament and be presented at the demand of tournament chiefs.
5. For argument solution it is necessary to contact tournament chief or judge by ICQ and present day-by-day saves, ICQ logs and other necessary information.
The decision of the judge in first instance in made on the basis of tournament rules. If the argument is not governed by rules then judges use elementary logic and game ethics.
6. All games will be taken into account at seasonal rating.
7. The winner of the tournament will be rewarded by the Cup under his avatar:


IV. Participants
1. Tournament invites active players of HW and other resources.
2. Organizers have the right to refuse a player to take part in the tournament without public declaration of the reasons.
3. Tournament participation claim should be as follows:
- Nickname
- ICQ number (+ if possible, Skype login)
- time convenient for games
