Blood crystals gathered by a particular hero can be seen in "Town Management" spell in the hero spellbook.
Right click on the Magic guild at home and read the description carefully. Everything you need is there.
Manticores and other kind of creatures that come from magic guildes and blood crystals arrive on day 1 each week.
