@Petr22, the number of areas is defined for each template. To make the zones larger, try different template and make the size of the map as large as possible.
You are correct though, the sizes are smaller than original ToTe. I do not understand why this is a problem though. ToTe maps are big but there are much less things to do on them.
@heythererw, all comes down to what map size you play on.
On huge maps and above games last longer and still keep the interest of the player by having a lot of things to do. Some people like to play big long maps. There are 30+ new adventure map objects, bigger creature stacks which have more variety, more artifacts to gather and so on.
On the other hand the game length can be as long as ToTe or even shorter if the game is played on small maps.
