The concept of 'wasting' time is rather strange. What makes any one activity a waste of time? Personally I see work as a waste of my time: Time which could be better spent doing something that I enjoy. This accepted notion that doing certain things, such as playing computer games, spending time on Reddit and sitting on the sofa staring at the ceiling are somehow 'bad', shows something very wrong with society's mind-set. Let's face it, if I said that I was playing chess, reading books and doing luge, nobody's judging and telling me I'm 'wasting time'. Yet what's the difference? Chess is a game, reading is reading and luge is lying down (with the added factor of trying not to die). What any of us choose to do with our own time, is our business and others shouldn't judge.
