Dear friends! I invite you to take part in a traditional tournament:

The Battle of Favorites! - 5

To take part in the tournament it is necessary to provide the following information:
- nickname
- favorite castle
- icq number
- skype
- preferable time for games


Rules of the games:


1. During the whole tournament every participant plays for his chosen favorite town. If two similar towns meet then players can come to the mutual agreement about starting heroes. If they can't, heroes are set to random.
2. The color in the drawing tables is only for the first generation. After each no reason restart (only 111+111+111 or 111+112 or 113) colors must be swapped.
3. It is allowed to agree mutually for any rules changes except the change of favorite castle and Fair Play rule.
4. The game version is SoD 3.2 (4.0) + HDmod or under the mutual agreement terms - WT, ТЕ or ТЕ-Light.

Templates.

The template for the game will be chosen by elimination procedure from the list of 5 templates: 8мм6а, 2SM4d(3), Jebus cross, Balance, Mini-Nostalgia.
Blue player starts the procedure.

Blue:
3. 2SM4d(3)
Red:
4. Jebus cross
Thus the game is played on Mini-Nostalgia template.

Rules are completely the same as the rules for tournament.
A bit later the complete rules for different templates will be here.
Time limit for 2SM4d(3) and Balance - 8 minutes, for Jebus cross, 8mm6a and Mini-Nostalgia - 10 minutes.

Rules differences for templates other than 2sm4d(3):

8мм6а:
- Map settings: XL+U, 2 humans + 6 computers, difficulty 160%.
- Dirt road restart. It is taken by the will of any player immediately after map generation.
- It is allowed to move between zones without fighting misplaced guards.
- If there is an upgrade of 1, 6, 7 creature building in Conflux or 4 creature building in Necropolis, it is not allowed to upgrade your existing troops of these levels or buy an upgraded version of creatures. If there is Necromancy amplifier built it is not allowed to upgrade vampire estate and it is allowed to use additional skeletons coming from necromancy.
- It is allowed to use DD twice a day on expert air magic.

Jebus cross:
- Map settings: XL-U, 2 humans, no water, monsters - strong, difficulty 160 %, time limit 8 minutes.
- Restart by the will of a player who has the only road leading to the desert. It is taken on the day of the discovery of that fact.
- Restart by the will of a player who has no road to the desert. It is taken on the day of the discovery of that fact.
- Dirt road restart. It is taken by the will of any player immediately after map generation.
- It is allowed to use «Angel wings» and spells "Fly" и "DD" to move between zones only if the border guards between these zones were eliminated.
- If there are bugged zone transitions it is allowed to use them only if the guards from these zones to the desert are eliminated.
- It is allowed to use Galthran as a starting hero in Necropolis.

Balance:
- Map settings: L-U, humans - 2, computers - 0, no water, strong monsters, difficulty 130%.

Mini-Nostalgia:
- Map settings: L+U humans - 2, computers - 6.
- To avoid double-builds computer castles are chosen by the players. The blue players starts choosing, choses one castle for his computer (the one in the zone neighboring to blue's starting position), than red chooses one castle for his computer etc. There must be no repeats and computer castles must differ from players'. Computer castles are set by the host before the start of the game.
- It is allowed to move between zones without fighting misplaced guards. The exception is the strong guards to the central zone - they must be fought.

Drawings and tournament system:
Registration - 2 - 27 September 2012.
Tournament start - 29 September 2012.

1 stage. Groups. 16 groups, 5 [players each.
Duration: 29 September - 26 November.

2 этап. Full Double Elimination.
Drawing - 26 November.
Finals in both upper and bottom parts should be player up to 2 wins.
For the winning of the tournament in the super-final match winner of the upper part should gain 2 victories, the winner of the bottom part should gain 3 victories.
One game is played in 2 weeks.

The tournament is official.
The winner will be awarded with a medal under his avatar:
