Now I know what some of you who just saw that description thinking: "well just Odin it" or "just DoD it" or "just Bahamut it" or "just Themis it" and many more. Here's the catch: this thing is does not give a damn against those things. Why? simply because of its second abilty description that said "Can't be affected by any other card's abilities...." Now, where is banish comes from? Odin's fanfare. So it's a card ability! Holy shit he can't be banished by Odin! Alright what about destruction effect? Bahamut? Bahamut is obviously a card, and he has "destroy effect". Same with Themis which is basically Bahamut without body that does not destroy amulets also. Alright, there should be another way right? Oh yeah, what about petrification without sigil? That will turns him into golem-oh wait, that's also a card effect. Damn, we can't transform it either!

Simply put, Aegis is a follower that just cannot be taken out from the field, no matter what you try to do.
