If map scripts are activated and there are 2 or more human players in the game, you will be automatically asked at the beginning of day 1 if human players should be allied or not.

"Fear My Roar" mana requirements are increased because it was too abusive. Horde's Anger damage was reduced because barbarians did more damage than Magicians with 0 spellpower and no skill requirement ("Shouting" skill is equal to "Sorcery", it is not a school).

"Battlecry" attack bonus was reduced due to being extremely potent combined with barbarian high attack skill.

Fortress runes price was significantly increased (special resource cost equals the level of the rune) because it made them easily the strongest faction in the game.

"Rune of speed" was moved from level 1 to level 5 because it made the whole faction as fast as Sylvan and Dungeon for free (1 stone). Fortress are meant to be slow and tough.

Late game fully developed fortress is still very very strong but hopefully economics requirements compensate.
