In MMH55 development to this point a number of changes were made to make creature upgrades to differ from each other. I can admit that certain creature upgrades difference may be more niche than others, or there are creatures which upgrades are used for the same tactics even though stat wise they are different.

Without giving a proper examples which upgrades can be changed and how to be made better I cannot elaborate further.

But to answer your question simply - MMH55 update branch will stay separate.

MMH5.5 RC12 released!


This update primarily contains a big update to the Advanced RMG. There will be a separate in-depth thread about it so stay tuned!

Changelist

1. Spells & Skills

- Changed Mass Spells cost 4x the mana of the single target spell instead of 2x, except Mass Cleansing remains at 2x
- Changed Expert frenzy will only last 1 turn
- Fixed Flame Wielder spec not working for empowered fireball
- Changed Suffering & Righteous Might cost reduced to 8
- Changed Confusion, Deflect missile cost reduced to 7
- Changed (as a result of above changes) various spellcaster creatures have changed mana counts
- Fixed Shouting values now show the real ATB bonus which was always 11,22,33% just text was wrong.
- Fixed text for banshee howl and prayer

2. Creatures

- Changed Stalker/Mistress Invisibility lasts 2 instead of 3 turns.
- Changed Call Storm DMG lowered to 10 per turn per creature instead of 20, but max shooter penalty reduction increased to -40%
- Changed Untamed cyclops +1 Speed -2A -1D (make less risky investment)
- Changed Bloodeyed cyclops +2D +1A +10HP -1Speed
- Changed sharpshooter +2Hp -1ini (fix first turn OP, now the others are the fast ones since they do less dmg on first shot)
- Changed Master hunter +1ini -1max dmg
- Changed Vindicator 3-4 dmg, now more resistant to have dark magic
- Changed fix Lizard bite txt
- Changed Hunters +10 cost
- Changed Mountain guards, Defensive stance boosts defense by +5 instead of +10
- Changed Ingvar specialization gives +1Hp per 10 levels, not 5
- Changed Fortress T1 Defenders -5 cost
- Changed Academy T1 Gremlins -5 cost

3. Scripts

- Added new user option to force which ultimate artifact is rewarded for Obelisk and Shantiri disc quests on RMG maps.

Sorry for my bad english

I have a problem with MH5.5 RC11. We played map(i activate scripts on it) with hotseat. Ai player captured my town and convert it to inferno(my town was tribes), and now i can"t to convert it back. My hero stand in the gates of town, i use town managment discription says if i click "ok" i will convert my town, when i click it, i see massage "conversion limit has been reached for this faction" and nothing happens. How can we fix this problem, we played about 30hours on this map, and town conversion issue ruined our game, please help.
Also dwelling conversion doesn't work too, if one of human players want to use it, but work when it use ai players.
In settings town conversion, goverment and town portal switched to "1".

Hello @Swar1988 there is limit on how many towns of specific type can exist on the map. If that amount is reached no more cities can be converted.

The same rule is valid for Dwelling conversion.

Set the file in MMH55_Settings.pak to a higher value. For example - 10.

On a second thought that changes only affect newly started games so it wont be of much help to you .

Try another thing, if you are playing hotseat, activate console and during game inside console type "H55_AmountExtraTownsDwellings = 10" without the columns.
Then try to convert the town.

Note: AI is cheating. It converts towns for free (or very cheap).

Dear all,

Hotfix RC12a was just released, it fixes a issue with Gotai crashing the game when opening spellbook or entering combat mode. Installation guide is in description. Hotfix will not affect RC12 save games.

Проблема с UI элементами игры - смещение, как под квадратный монитор. С оригинальной игрой такой проблемы не было.
В чем ошибка и как её можно решить?
(игра ставилась на репак от R.G.Catalyst)

What resolution the game is set to?
R.G.Catalyst - what is this? If it is a mod, remove it. If you have other mods, remove them as well and try again.

No, R.G. Catalyst - it's not a mod It's a pirat team that created a game repack.
I have a clear setup - only game plus HoMM 5.5 mod (RC12 + RC12a hotfix), nothing else. When I launch H5_Game.exe or MMH55_Utility.exe - there no problem with UI, but when I launch MMH55.exe/MMH55_64.exe - for some reason an offset occurs.

Game resolution: 1920x1080

Does this repack changes something in the game? or is just pirated version?
I am playing on the same settings and have no issues whatsoever.

Установил мод, всё как надо, решил пройти кампанию и возникла проблема. В первой миссии в постройках где должны быть крестьяне теперь мечники, а так где должны быть мечники теперь королевские грифоны. После 3 переигровок так и не набрал нужное количество крестьян и с каждой переигровкой их меньше. Сперва к концу уровня набрал 90, потом 75, а потом 60. Никто не сталкивался с такой проблемой?

dredknight, привет!

Хотим сыграть с товарищем по локальной сети в HOMM 5.5 (RC12) и столкнулись с проблемой.

Заскриптовали генерируемую карту следовательно инструкции (Reanimation patch и Mapmiser), все лишние файлы с папки /Data удалили, сохранения пустые, все чисто. Запускали игру через ярлык MMH55_Utility_64. К игре присоединяюсь и игра идет хорошо. Но потом через несколько ходов мы пропускаем ход и игра стоит на месте, мы ничего не можем сделать и игра будто чтото "Ждет".

А потом, когда хотели загрузить игру, то я уже не мог присоединиться к хосту, выскакивала ошибка 2.0.2.

Как с этими ошибками бороться?
